EVEN PROBLEM SKIN | I had to write to tell you how pleased I am with Gloves In A Bottle. My hands have been so bad that I've been embarrassed to let them be seen. I have gone to the dermatologist, used prescription creams, even used rubber gloves as much as possible, but to very little avail. I'm a professional business woman and must attend many meetings and naturally my hands are always on display, going through briefs, etc. When possible I try to keep them in my lap and out of sight. Well, I've been using Gloves In A Bottle for approximately one week and the results are astonishing! My hands are those of a human being again, even my cuticles look great and the overall condition of my skin is truly amazing. Gloves In A Bottle did more than the expensive prescription cream. The nice thing is that a little goes a long way, and it penetrates the skin, leaving a very nice, dry, smooth feeling after application. I've been able to get a manicure and am wearing some of my favorite rings again. Its great!!! Thank you for making such a wonderful product available. S.B. - Business woman My daughter brought a sample of your product home from a visit to Kaiser with my parents. I loved the product and find almost to be a miracle cure for my problem areas. My question is, is there anywhere in my area that I can purchase this product? Or, is this an over the counter kind of medication. I am really interested in purchasing your product. M.J. I am retired Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse that now spends a lot of time pursuing my hobby of quilting/embroidering. Your product is the best hand lotion I have ever used. There is no odor (I am allergic to many other products), no stickiness, and no residue to harm delicate fabrics. It leaves your hands so smooth that no thread or fabric snags on any roughness that might be present on my hands (after a few days of use and there is no roughness on my hands, period). I intend to share my pleasure with Gloves In A Bottle with all my quilt guild friends. I hope to see it soon at my fabric/quilt shops. Arlene Doppelt Retired Nurse ![]() It started when I began noticing an improvement in the skin on the backs of my hands. It got more supple and less leathery looking. I'm outdoors a lot, doing my work as a gardener, and other areas are constantly exposed to sun, wind, rain. So I decided to extend the use of Gloves In A Bottle to these areas as well. I wear short sleeved shirts most of the time; my exposed forearms showed definite improvement. After noticing this, the logical thing to do was to include my face, especially the forehead and around the crinkles at the corners of my eyes. All of these soon showed similar results. Needless to say, handling of these skin problems was appreciated and I began to pay closer attention to my skin in the treated areas. This is when I noticed that a scar on my left wrist, from a minor operation which had left stitch marks in an oval of lumps, was showing fewer lumps! I am 65, now, and this scar was formed when I was a teenager. I still can hardly believe that now all those little lumps are gone. Every once in a while I put a bright light on that scar and look very closely - still gone. Then I figured that a regular application of Gloves In A Bottle does more than just protect the skin; it might even help the skin to heal itself. It seems to handle skin problems. Two other anomalies have been affected. One is on the back of my left hand, in the web area between index finger and thumb. After a burn there from hot cooking oil, it was left with a sort of pock marked scar, lots of little depressions. This has improved to the point where the pock marks are gone. The other is on my forehead where a small patch of leathery skin, about 1/4" long by 1/8" wide, rides on top of normal skin. It reminds me of lichen on a log. From time to time, the patch curls around the edges and can be pulled off. Then another soon forms. This patch has been getting smaller and it is not as leathery. Perhaps this skin problem will eventually be gone. If you can get the dermatologists to look into this, perhaps it will be shown that regular use of Gloves In A Bottle does more than just protect the skin. David Kline Professional Gardener As a dermatologist with many years of experience treating skin problems, I can tell you what the major causes are. One of them is exposure to irritants and chemicals in the everyday environment. We live in a much more toxic environment today and our skin bears the brunt. When we are exposed to harsh conditions in the environment it can have a very negative effect on our skin. The skin is our largest organ – its primary function is to protect the body from pollutants, toxins and irritants. It keeps the bad stuff out. When it loses the ability to do that we are exposed to all that bad stuff. Skin needs the natural oils and moisture it produces to be healthy, but with the stresses our skin is exposed to, these factors are often not present. Dry skin and other skin conditions come about when the protective outer layer is stripped away and irritants and bacteria get into the skin. The reason shielding lotions are so effective is that they replace the protective barrier and allow the skin to heal from within. A shielding lotion bonds with the outer layer of the skin and protects it from outside irritants and chemicals, so it will prevent skin conditions from developing or it will help an existing condition to heal A conventional lotion is not formulated to protect the skin like a shielding lotion does. Conventional lotions only add surface moisture to temporarily alleviate the dryness or itching. Shielding lotions stay on because they bond with the skin and protect it for long periods of time. With this protection in place your skin keeps its own moisture in and has a chance to use this natural moisture in the deep layers of the skin to heal itself. We recommend Gloves In A Bottle to our patients and we have typically seen them ask for refills. Often our best indicator that the lotion worked effectively is the fact that they did not come back to the office for another visit – the condition cleared right up.
